India's Forex Reserves Up by US $952 Million
India's Forex reserves now stand at $162,912 billion during the week ending on June 30. This would indicate that India's reserves increased by $952 million against the figure during the week ending June 23, which was $161.960 billion. During the preceding week ending June 23, the reserves had decreased by $1.073 billion, making the upswing in India's foreign currency reserves all the more positive.
Foreign currency assets also increased to $155.968 billion, a jump of $1.79 billion, during the seven-day period ending June 30. This is according to figures released by the reserve Bank of India, which also included the information that reserve position in the IMF declined by $9,000,000-$754,000,000.
